Prace Literackie

"Prace Literackie" is a peer-reviewed scientific journal - known not only in Poland. The journal was established in December 1956 and is published by the Institute of Polish Philology of the University of Wrocław. It was founded by prof. Tadeusz Mikulski, and its subsequent chief editors were prof. Bogdan Zakrzewski, prof. Lesław Tatarowski, and since 1999 prof. Marian Ursel. "Prace Literackie" is a journal of a literary profile that includes the broad interpretational contexts of Polish literature, both intertextual and theoretical, and those inscribed in the historical literary process. The distinguished old-generation as well as young researchers and scientifically debuting Polish philologists, PhD students have published in the journal.

Abstracts of articles published in "Prace Literackie" can be found in the database of the Czasopisma Naukowe w Sieci (CNS) as well as in The Central European Journal of Social Sciences and Humanities (on the basis of an appropriate agreement between WUWr and CEJSH), as well as in the Federacja Bibliotek Cyfrowych and Europeana. Thanks to the agreement of the Institute of Polish Philology with the MLA Directory of Periodicals, copies of the journal are also sent to the Cambridge Scientific Abstracts database (CSA, ProQuest).
